Hua Hin Nightmarket - shopping and sightseeing in one

Image
Hua Hin night market is a must-see for shopping and sightseeing in one. Both local foreigners and thai's enjoy the market as well as foreign visitors to HuaHin. It's central location makes it easily accessible. The atmosphere is not as chic as other nightmarkets but still a unique, busy atmosphere that has some subtle nightlife around it: You can shop for souveniers, clothing, handicraft etc. There's plenty of street food at affordable prices Enjoy the nightlife in one of the many restaurants nearby If youre into seafood this area is especially suitable because of it's location close to the Chatchai seafood market - so splurge on that lobster, squid or fresh prawn p.s.: This footage is taken in September 2021 so still during Covid restriction times but as you can see the market is lively. Expect it to be bigger and more crowded once tourism normalizes in Thailand. Location of Hua Hin night market Right in the town center, the nightmarket is close to the Train station ...

Chatchai seafood market in the center of Hua Hin

Image
Very close to the Hua Hin Railway station is the Chatchai seafood market. It is not a tourist attraction in a traditional sense but rather an authentic local market where residents go to buy groceries and restaurants buy everything they need for the day. Due to this proximity of fresh product, especially seafood, there are many restaurants and also a night market nearby. What to do in Hua Hin at the seafood market? Just talk a walk around and if you can cook at your accommodation in Hua Hin, be sure to buy some of the freshest seafood Hua Hin has to offer. I would plan to spend about 30 minutes at the market or longer if you walk around the wider area. The best time to visit is from early morning to about lunchtime. Location of the best seafood market in town This authentic local market is right here and easily accessible from many directions - just follow the stream of people going in: Just pick and choose what you like - language won't be a barrier and prices are fair.

What to do entirely free in Hua Hin: Watch the sunset at the beach

Image
As long as you can get up early enough, depending on season and distance to the beach around 4:30-5:00, then i absolutely recommend watching the sunset at the beach: Many locations are suitable to watch the sunset We recommended our favourite spot because there is plenty of space to sit on the stone cay rather than on the sand That makes the location also suitable to take great pictures, have a picnic without much preparation or enjoy evening drinks at sundown But note that due to it's location on the Gulf of Thailand you will only see the sunset in the morning, not the sundown in the evening. But still evening atmosphere is also nice If you're into Photography or videoshooting this place is a dream and entirely free Our recommendation where to watch the sunset at Hua Hin beach Just off Hua Hin's main road is Soi 5: Please note that while google maps indicates there would be a cocktail bar at this place, currently there is not establishment at all. So be sure to grab your ...
